Our Story
Founder of Hui Lau Shan, Mr. Hui Chi-Yuk took after his father Mr. Hui Lau Shan’s legacy and started selling herbal tea and herbal jelly in 1960s. This shop became the predecessor of Hui Lau Shan.
In 1992, Hui Lau Shan introduced its innovative Mango Sago and became a Hong Kong style dessert brand that specialized in mango desserts. With a continuous growth, it developed into a leading Chinese dessert chain.
In 2000, while Hui Lau Shan was very popular with its renowned dine-in desserts, classic fresh fruit beverage was introduced and the take-away sales channel has been well developed since then.

As the market leader of Hong Kong style desserts, HUI LAU SHAN aims to share Hong Kong dessert culture and heritage value to the rest of the world. From coast to coast, Hui Lau Shan is spreading joy as we rapidly expand our presence in the U.S. market.
